연구실소개

  • Bio-computing LaboratoryVarious huge biological and physiological data arising from human body (such as signal, imaging, and so on) through recent advanced measurement tools could be obtained. From these data we could extract specific useful information through various computational techniques based on solid mathematical and physical concepts. The obtained useful information would be used to develop new technologies such as biomedical imaging, brain-computer interface and so on.
    Bio-computing laboratory has researched on information extraction from huge data obtained from the up-to-date brain imaging tools such as MEG, EEG and fMRI. This helps neuroscientists with understanding basic mechanism of brain activities and functional variations. Furthermore, it would open a door for understanding mechanism for various brain disorders, and for developing early diagnosis and treatment. Particularly,
    it would be applicable to develop EEG-based brain-computer interface, which will be a good example for fusion technique of IT and BT.
