연구실소개

  • Solid-State Lighting Lab (SSLL / S2L2)Our research covers basically a whole range of making solid-state lighting devices including LEDs, semiconductor lasers, and other electroluminescent devices from thin film growth to final chip fabrication. Thin films for novel light-emitting devices can be made by Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) system which can control the device structure very accurately. Research in our lab includes not only making devices but also doing various analyses, for example, photoluminescence (PL), electroluminescence (EL), morphology investigation using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and x-ray diffraction (XRD), and so on.
